The beautiful woman on the left is what Oxford educated, University of North Carolina physics professor Peter Frampton thought he was going to meet. What he ended up meeting was metal behind Devoto Prison in Buenos Aries.

A visit to Mate1.com linked the professor to who he thought was bikini model Denise Milani. It turned out that it was not her, but it was South American gangsters who set him up to be a part of a drug deal. They used the photos of the model to lure him. He traveled to Bolivia, hoping that he would meet up with her. Instead, he met a man who gave him a suitcase and told him to bring it to Argentina and to deliver it to Milani.

When he arrived in Argentina, he tried to take a plane back home to North Carolina, while the suitcase was in his possession. In the suitcase, police found four pounds of cocaine. The Argentinian court sentenced him to serve 4 years and 8 months in prison after it was proved that he sent a text message to the supposed model saying that he was worried about the “sniffer dogs.”  UNC has since cut his salary.
